During the summer of 2018, I joined the Ignite Team at Salesforce, specifically as an Innovation Design Intern. I had the opportunity to bring my ideas from sketches to high fidelity designs and prototypes that were used for high level conversations with potential c suite customers. Some of these were pitched and presented to CEO's and Innovation and Marketing officers. The result was new research findings, insights, and recommendations for the team. Working collaboratively with many designers, strategists, and researchers helped craft a design that serviced the business needs as well. Learning Ignites design process from sketching to storyboarding, to storytelling to prototyping; made me rethink the way I go about building. The multidisciplinary nature of the team honed my skills not only as a designer but as an interviewer, researcher, strategist, project manager and team player.
